Gary D. Aller
TOMAH, Wis. — Gary D. Aller, 66, of Tomah died Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Tomah. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah, and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the church. Memorials may be given in memory of Gary to Tomah Special Olympics. A celebration of Gary’s life will follow the memorial service at Kelsey’s.

Gladys M. Connolly

Gladys M. Connolly, 77, of La Crosse died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Hillview Health Care Center, La Crosse. Memorial services will be announced by Woodruff-Jandt Funeral Home, La Crosse.

Margaret Marcella Hutschenreuter

Margaret M. Hutschen-reuter, 84, of La Crosse passed away peacefully in her bed at the Onalaska (Wis.) Care Center on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.

She was born in Sparta, Wis., on May 20, 1923, to Ed and Emma (Washburn) Helgerson. Margaret married Herman Hutschenreuter in 1948. She enjoyed giving to everyone, cooking, her dog Fred, and her Onalaska Care Center family.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Ray) Hasz; sons, Bernard (Louise) Hutschenreuter, Ronald (Jean) Hutschenreuter, Douglas Pfaff and Gary Hutschenreuter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; a sister; Lilian Latner; a brother; Don (Carol) Helgerson; a sister-in-law, Edna Helgerson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons; Bill, Rich, Herman Jr. and Jim; sister, Bernice; brothers, Edward and Laverne; and her beloved dog, Fred.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home-Nelson Chapel, 1007 Caledonia St., La Crosse. Pastor David Baldukas will officiate with interment at French Island Cemetery. Visitations will be held today from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the service, both at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Onalaska Care Center for the many years of wonderful support and care.

HOUSTON, Minn. — Leonard F. Johnson, 89, of Houston died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Evangelical Free Church, Houston. Burial will be in Swede Bottom Cemetery, rural Houston, with military honors by Arnet-Sheldon American Legion Post of Houston. BLAIR, Wis. — Esther M. Roseth, 93, of Blair died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Grand View Care Center, Blair. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church, Blair. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jack Funeral Home, Blair, and 1 p.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.

Evelyn E. Schotten

SPARTA, Wis. — Evelyn E. Schotten, 95, of Elkhart, Ind., and formerly of Sparta died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta. Barbara J. Zabinski

TREMPEALEAU, Wis. — Barbara J. Zabinski, 68, of Trempealeau died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital’s emergency room in Winona, Minn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Saturday at Holy Family Parish, Arcadia, Wis., with the Rev. Michael Klos officiating. Burial will be in Trempealeau Public Cemetery.
