Florence L. Fischer
LA CROSSE/ONALASKA, Wis. — Florence L. Fischer, 98, of La Crosse and Alterra Sterling in Onalaska, died Thursday, April 24, 2008.
She was born Jan. 2, 1910, to Henry and Minnie (Rupp) Limpert. She married Roland Fischer on Nov. 11, 1939, and he preceded her in death April 16, 1965. Florence was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, La Crosse.
She is survived by a nephew, Robert Netzer of La Crosse; and nieces, Donna (Stanton) Taylor of La Crescent, Minn., Geri Schams of Lilydale, Minn., Helen Fritz of Tomahawk, Wis., and Marilyn (Russ) Wolden and Shirley (Richard )Dahlby, both of La Crosse. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as great-great- nieces and great-great-nephews. She was a delightful “Auntie” to all of us.
In addition to her husband, Florence was preceded in death by her brother, Erwin; and her sisters, Helen and Ruth.
In accordance with Florence’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, with Pastor Mark Rieke officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse. Dickinson Family Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

PIGEON FALLS, Wis. — Myron “Mike” O. Larson, 85, of rural Pigeon Falls died Wednesday at Black River Memorial Hospital, Black River Falls, Wis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Upper Pigeon Creek Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery, both in rural Hixton, Wis. WAUZEKA, Wis. — Gilbert “Gib” Louis Bunders, 84, of Wauzeka died Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Wauzeka, with burial in the Wauzeka Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Kyle M. Arens
APPLE VALLEY, Minn./LA CROSSE — Kyle M. Arens, 37, of Apple Valley and formerly of La Crosse passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn (Robert) Schoenborn of Deerwood, Minn.; his father, Gerald of Dallas; a sister, Chris (Mark) Heinzman; a brother, Brian (Linda); and nieces, nephew, and many other relatives and friends.
He was employed for many years at Lapp Tannehill and Excel Energy Center. An avid sports fan and movie buff, Kyle was a loving uncle.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Washburn-McGreavy Dawn Valley Chapel, 9940 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington, Minn. 55438 (952-941-7686). A private interment will be in Dawn Valley Cemetery, Bloomington.
