Why do they act like children?

.
This letter is to those who believe that 18-year-olds should have the right to drink because they are adults.

I turned 18 the year that the law was passed giving us the right to be adults. We could get married, vote, sign legal documents and, yes, we could drink. There was a war going on at that time and that was one of the concerns, that we could die for our country, but we could not vote, so the age of majority was dropped from 21 to 18. So we could vote as adults do and with that came all the legal responsibilities of an adult.
What happened over the years was that the people began to see that, at 18, some of us did not act like adults, and more problems came of that, so the law was changed again and drinking age was dropped back down a couple times. So there is much more to this than just drinking. You have to be an adult.

If at 18 you are an adult, then act like one. From what I have seen, you still act like you are in junior high school.

If at age 18 and an adult then why is it that you have children of your own and then dump them on your parents? Do you know that because of the way some of you act my insurance rates have been raised? It is because your age group has more problems, and the rest of us have to pay for it.
