See ya next week Corzo! "

" Door had a padlock. The key was on the same ring as the truck key. The truck was owned and driven by Mr Singh. No evidence was presented that Mr Corzo was ever in the trailor, touched the door of the trailor or the contents of the trailor. Amazing that the DAs office never thought to fingerprint anything, and if they did, they didn't present that information to the jury. "

" Dr9... defendants only take the stand as a last resort. The DA's in this county are worthless. Decades of weak prosecution, poorly constructed cases and constantly not charging the crime that wold most likely lead to conviction. I saw this on coming like beacon in the night. "

" Hey did the back doors have a break proof lock or safety chain on it that the back doors were not to be opened until the delivery was made? He knew exactly what was on that load. A good driver would have inspected the load before signing for it. Drug dealers get away again. I hope the Asst. DA who did not do his job has his children be the recipient of the drugs that are going to be sold from this semi!
Maybe next time, he will put a DRUG DEALER away. "

" this case is over! entirely, does anyone really think singh is gonna show up for court? i don't. and how much did it "cost" for mr. corzo to go free? smells like cartel spirit to me...hundreds of miles off their course from san diego to new york, half ton of pot, what a joke! gangstas win again! "
smartchick wrote on May 9, 2008 12:08 PM:
" Statements: The prosecution didn't have enough evidence to convict. He didn't have even 1 piece of evidence to prove that Mr Corzo knew what was in that trailor. Brian Barton had 5 months to do his research and he failed to get the answers to basic questions. Also, there were 7 or 8 witness that he has listed, yet he only called 2. Call all of them next time! Even if you think the information is repeat. They might add 1 piece of evidence that would sway the jury.
I sure hope his office takes the time to dig up more information before Mr Singh's trial.

While we are at it why don't we just throw the jury in prison for failing to convict.

The scary thing is is the number of people who would agree with the above sarcasm. I'm thinking of a word. It starts with 'fas' and ends with 'cism'. Can you say the world out loud? Do you dare say the word out loud? "
