Teen Q&A: Vacations, parties and the senior slide

Q: We want to take a family vacation before the school year ends, departing on May 23, but don’t want our teens to jeopardize their classes and grades for the semester. Our extended family is having a reunion in upstate New York, and we thought we would combine that with a week of sightseeing and visiting some colleges for our sophomore and junior kids.
