Two dead in fiery crash in Chisago County
CENTER CITY, Minn. — Two people are dead after a fiery head-on crash in Chisago County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says an 18-year-old driver was westbound on Highway 8 shortly before 8 p.m. Friday when the driver crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on.
That vehicle was being driven by a 49-year-old resident of Phoenix.
Both vehicles burst into flames, and the two drivers died at the scene.
The 18-year-old is from Shafer, Minnesota. The names of the victims weren’t immediately released.
