Wiese joins Arena league team

Lee Newspapers Alex Wiese, a former La Crescent High School standout, will join the Peoria (Ill.) Pirates of Arena Football League 2.
The running back wrapped up his senior season last fall for Winona State. He led the team in rushing with 1,458 yards and 18 touchdowns. Wiese will report to the Pirates on Monday.
