Published - Sunday, May 11, 2008 Sheriff says wounded girl not believed to have been target WEST BEND, Wis. — The teenage girl critically wounded last weekend in a vehicle in the town of Addison is not believed to have been a target of the shooter, the Washington County Sheriff says. Dale Schmidt said Nicole Sell, 16, of Slinger, likely would not have been visible to the shooter as she was laying on the rear seat during the May 3 incident. Neither driver Justine Towne, nor the another passenger, Scott Cecil, who are both 17, were injured. Schmidt said investigators have obtained state vehicle registration records for sport utility vehicles matching the description of the other vehicle, and those records are being analyzed.
