Published - Monday, May 12, 2008 Holmen seeks public input on school boundaries HOLMEN, Wis. — The Holmen School District has two listening sessions planned this week to get public input on changes in elementary school attendance boundaries. The first session is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday; the second is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Both are in the Trygve Mathison Fine Arts Center. Boundary changes are necessary because of the fall 2009 opening of the Prairie View Elementary. After voters approved construction of the new school, the Holmen School Board appointed a committee, which has been meeting since December, to develop a recommendation for the board. Those who can’t make it to the sessions can post comments on the district’s Web site, www.holmen.k12.wi.us.
