Published - Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Arcadia couple killed in weekend crash ARCADIA, Wis. — An elderly couple from Kenosha died in a highway crash while visiting in Trempealeau County for Mother’s Day weekend. The couple’s daughter and son-in-law were also in the vehicle and were critically injured. Eighty-four-year-old Evelyn Kokott died in the head-on crash on Highway 93 in the town of Arcadia Saturday night. Her 91-year-old husband, Alphonse Kokott, died Sunday. Relatives say the couple had been married for more than 60 years. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department says a third vehicle was involved in the collision, but no other details were released. Relatives say daughter Sharon Jackson and her husband, Ted, are hospitalized in critical condition.
