Published - Thursday, May 15, 2008 Holmen native doesn’t move on in ‘Jeopardy!’ Suchita Shah, a Holmen, Wis., native attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison, was one question away from moving on to the final round of the 2008 “Jeopardy!” College Championship. Shah led throughout the semifinal rounds but didn’t know the answer to the final “Jeopardy!” question, she said. Her final appearance on the TV quiz show was broadcast Wednesday. “It was heartbreaking, but I played my best,” Shah said. “Plus, I had fun and got some money out of it — $10,000, so I can’t complain.” All students competing in the semifinals earned $10,000. Shah, a 20-year-old senior majoring in neurobiology, plans to spend it on medical school, but she might have a little fun first, she said. “I’m not sure yet ... ,” she said regarding exactly what she’ll do for fun. “I might travel a little bit.”
