" Dande, that is the tribune for you. They have errors in fact and errors in grammar on almost a daily basis. They need to fire their proofreader. This pedestrian must have been walking from Terry's Hideout, good thing he wasn't in LaCrosse or he would have ended up in the river. "

" Walking in the traffic lane with his back to the traffic? It doesn't say what time this happened or what the individual was wearing. But if it happened after dark, the man is lucky he didn't get flattened. Okay Mr Average Joe ACE... how would you wish to be treated if you were the driver under these circumstances? "

" You're always taught to walk in the opposite direction of traffic flow so you can see on-coming traffic and get out the way if someone driving is not paying attention. I'm not saying the officer was not paying attention however this walker should have had the common sense to know that you can trust no one while on the road. Come on guys the officer was not drunk, it was an accident. I don't even know how many close calls I have had with walkers not really paying attention to what they are doing as they walk on roadways. "

" Highway 21 connects Sparta to the west and Oshkosh to the east. How can someone be walking "southbound" on this highway? It doesn't intersect with Co X. Might have this incident occurred on Highway 27? Did it occur at night so as to affect visibility? "
