Coalition of faith communities names issues it will address

AMOS, a local faith-based coalition working on justice issues, has expanded and focused its work since forming in November.

Originally a group of eight faith communities, AMOS now includes Trinity Lutheran Church and First Presbyterian Church.

At a May 8 meeting, after two months of studying local needs, the group named the four issues it will be addressing in the Coulee Region:

- Food and hunger

- Health care

- Corrections and domestic violence

- Hmong needs.

Read more about what’s next for AMOS in Wednesday’s Tribune.
