Charter customers affected by network outage

.
High-speed Internet customers of Charter Communications in Wisconsin, northern Illinois and southeastern Minnesota are affected by a fiber optic network outage, the company said. Some Charter customers may experience slow speeds, intermittent access problems or be without Internet service altogether.

The outage originated with a third-party network provider that has sustained damage to its network and began about 8 a.m. today. Repairs are under way to re-establish Internet services, but Charter did not provide an estimate when the problems would be fixed. Video and telephone services provided by Charter are not affected by this outage.

" Hey Curious reader Why dont you get off Charter's back.Do you call and scream at the phone or power company when there is an outage due an external event that they have no control over? If you had slow speeds yesterday, then why didn't you call in for a service man to come? If you are paying for a service and not getting what you deserve, then call. Putting up with it shows your lack of intelligence. Cable is not a utility, it is not a necessity,it is a pleasure item. No one is forcing you to stay with Charter, if you don't like it, get a dish and quit your complaining.I can't stand people like you. Hey swampy mom, I'm sure if you call, they would be happy to issue you a credit. Why the sarcasm? These people work hard, cut them some slack. "

" So what would be the excuse for the slow speeds yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that...... "
