The Rev. Rod Eulenfeld, NASCAR Hall of Fame member, will teach from the Bible at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Living Word Christian Church, 2015 Ward Ave., (608) 787-5922. The 2008 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s Global Mission Event, with the theme “God’s Work, Our Hands,” will be July 17 to 20 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Plenary speakers include a group of HIV-positive women from Nigeria and the Rev. Lisandro Orlov, Latin American regional coordinator of the Lutheran World Federation HIV/AIDS campaign. The Coulee Region Gospel Choir, directed by Ruth Ann Granum, will present the Fifth Annual Summer Gospel Extravaganza at 4 p.m. July 13 at Sand Lake Wesleyan Church, N5761 Sand Lake Rd., Onalaska, Wis.
