In conjunction with its Mediterranean Festival, St. Elias Orthodox Christian Church will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m. Sunday at the South Side Oktoberfest grounds. There also will be a blessing of vehicles. The festival will run from noon to 5 p.m. and feature a lamb, chicken or spanakopita meal, bake sale, folk dancing, music and children’s activities. Sunday is the feast day of the church’s patron saint, the Glorious Prophet Elias, or Elijah.
