Jonathan L. Smith, 19, of 2819 Harvey St., was arrested June 18 on 11 counts of theft and three counts of criminal damage to property, released on a signature bond and failed to show up for his initial appearance earlier this month, according to La Crosse police.
According to police reports, Smith is responsible for stealing the following items:
- Eight 22-inch diameter steel weights valued at $150 to $200 each, an electric motor and two large gear boxes from Advanced Electric Equipment Service, 2411 Larson St., in May and mid-June.
- More than 500 gallons of diesel fuel from Milestone Materials, 2400 Hauser St., in mid-July, according to reports.
- Fifteen battery cores and 30 brake shoes worth $660 in early May and June and a metal bin of semi-brake core parts between the end of February and beginning of March, and a metal bin of semi-brake core parts in early June from River State Truck and Trailer, 3959 N. Kinney Coulee Road.
- About 50 metal pipes weighing 125 pounds each from TCI Architects, 2435 Hauser St., in mid-May.
- An 8-by-10-foot trailer and two 150 gallon fuel tanks from the La Crosse Soccer Club in mid-May.
- Several steel pieces from Custom Metal Fabricating, 3090 Berlin Drive, in early June.
- A broken padlock was reported at Milestone Landscaping, 2600 Hauser St., on May 22.
