Two communities are holding blueberry festivals - one in northwestern Wisconsin and the other in central Wisconsin.
Iron River, which calls itself the blueberry capital, has its three-day Blueberry Festival running through Sunday.
Organizers plan a blueberry pie eating contest, fresh blueberries, rides, live music, queen coronation, craft vendors, polka mass and parade.
Merrill is holding its third annual Blueberry Blitz today. Organizers at Utech's Rainbow Dairy Goat Farm offer hay rides to view the 8,000 blueberry plants along with live music, goat cart racing and a blueberry picking contest.
