Authorities said the 21-year-old woman found the tape June 15 and didn't know what was on it until she started viewing it with her new boyfriend. She told police she never gave Timothy Lang consent for the taping that was done in October or November.
The 20-year-old Lang pleaded no contest Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge of invasion of privacy. He originally had been charged with a felony of making a visual representation of nudity without consent.
As conditions of probation, Circuit Judge Lisa Stark ordered him to write a letter of apology and have no contact with the victim. He also must spend 12 days in jail, perform 100 hours of community service and undergo any counseling his probation agent recommends.
