Man tells police he's close to rape, murder

.
OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — A judge has set $100,000 bond for a man accused of burglary after he told police he was close to committing more serious crimes, including rape and murder.

Christopher J. Sullivan, 43, of Oshkosh waived his preliminary hearing Thursday and had an arraignment set for Sept. 3. He is charged with five counts of burglary.
A criminal complaint states Sullivan broke into women's homes and sent them threatening mail.

In one case, a woman received a picture of a Barbie doll with its head cut off and a message that said, "Your head will be cut off, skinned, boiled, baked, we will have your skull at our table of sacrifice."

Sullivan told police he took lingerie and photographs from women in at least five burglaries and only his religion prevented him from crossing the line into rape and murder, according to the complaint.

" I say at least he admitted what he was about to do...he's probably scared of himself and his capabilities. Telling this to the police was commendable. It's in their court now, hopefully they do the right thing and can keep this guy off the streets and in a psych unit. "

" "...only his religion prevented him from crossing the line into rape and murder"???

I'm curious to find out which faith tradition allows him to break into people's homes and send women threatening mail. "
