Concordia used a 13-1 run over the final 3 minutes of the first half to turn a 28-25 lead into a 41-26 advantage on its way to an 82-60 victory over UW-La Crosse at the Wildwood Lodge Tip-Off Classic.
UW-L senior forward Mackenzie Hunter, who was named the tournament’s MVP, scored a game-high 26 points. Jamie Jones scored 15 points for Concordia, which received votes in the USA Today/ESPN Division II poll.
