The Badgers (4-1) led by as many as 12 points in the second half and then had to hold off Central Florida (1-4) at the end to get the win.
Wisconsin also got 14 points from Rae Lin D’Alie, who made both of her 3-point tries to help Wisconsin go 5 of 13 from long range. Central Florida was 0-2 on 3-point attempts.
Aisha Patrick scored 14 points and Emma Cannon had 12 to lead Central Florida.
Wisconsin plays 6th-ranked Baylor Saturday.
In Friday’s second game, Baylor beat Villanova 62-57.
The Badgers had edged Villanova 47-45 on Thursday.
