Patrol IDs two killed in accident : La Crosse Tribune

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — The State Patrol has released the names of two people killed Monday morning in two-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near Sandstone in northern Minnesota.

They are 51-year-old Gregory S. Anderson of Duluth, who was killed when his truck struck a small car driven by 23-year-old Crystal M. Wilcox
The state patrol said the accident happened when Wilcox lost control of her Volkswagen Golf, slid through the median and into the southbound lanes, colliding with Anderson's truck.

Wilcox was wearing her seat belt, but Anderson was not. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.

The Patrol said the road was dry at the time of the accident.
