The La Crosse Loggers will open the season at home for the first time since 2005 when they host defending NWL champion Thunder Bay at 7:05 p.m. on May 28 at Copeland Park.
La Crosse plays seven of its first 10 games at home. The Loggers have an eight-game homestand from June 18-26, with an off day included, and play 16 home games in June. La Crosse has 13 home games in July and closes the season at home with back-to-back two-game series against Waterloo and Mankato from Aug. 7-10.
The Loggers’ five Saturday home games will start at 6:05 p.m. and the six Sunday games will start at 5:05 p.m. Weekday start times remain 7:05 p.m.
La Crosse does not play North Division teams Brainerd or Duluth in 2009.
