Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is seeing a post-debate bounce in Wisconsin. Both Democratic pollster Public Policy Polling and Rasmussen Reports, which often produces survey results that favor Repbulicans, show a race within the margin of error.
Both pollster show President Barack Obama leading his challenger by 2 percentage points. PPP shows the president up 49-47, while Rasmussen has Obama leading 51-49. This is a tighter race than either pollster had shown in their previous Wisconsin surveys.
PPP's survey also showed that 51 percent of Wisconsinites have a favorable opinion of Big Bird, while 11 percent had an unfavorable opinion of the large, yellow "Sesame Street" star.
