Join The Parenting Place at the North Community Library every Monday morning for a literacy-focused Play Shoppe, a shared time for parents and children ages birth to five years of age. Every week we'll enjoy open-ended playtime, a simple art activity, circle and storytime, and snack. Come and share the power of playing with your child! Library staff will provide storytime on the third Monday of every month. Don’t forget to plan a little extra time at the end of Play Shoppe to check out books for everyone in the family!

No registration necessary. This program is free and open to all parents and children ages birth to 5 years of age.

While you're here, you'll have access to a Parent Educator who is steeped in knowledge of child development and parenting skills. You'll also have the chance to meet other parents/ caregivers of young children from throughout the community.
