Among older adults, falls are the leading cause of injury, hospital admissions for trauma and death. Many older people have had a fall that may have shaken their confidence and may have resulted in an injury.
Gundersen offers Stepping On workshops to teach older adults techniques to prevent falls. The workshop meets for two hours each week for seven weeks, focusing on topics such as:

Safe and proper footwear

Staying safe out in the community
