Experience the personal, the universal, the heartfelt, and the humorous in music at this La Crosse Chamber Chorale Concert. You’ll hear a beautiful Joan Szymko piece, “Remembering,” accompanied by Mary Beth Hensel on oboe and Derek Clark on cello. You’ll enjoy witty philosophy in Leonard Bernstein’s “The Best of All Possible Worlds,” from Candide. You’ll hear tender emotion in Norman Dello Joio’s “Come to Me, My Love.” And you’ll feel the fervent hope of Emma Lazarus’s words “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor,” in Irving Berlin’s classic setting. You'll also hear music by Morten Lauridsen, Francis Poulenc, and Lee Kesselman. Pamela Preston Kelly will be the featured pianist.
