Are you concerned about the amount of time your child spends on his or her cell phone? Do you feel as if social media is disrupting your child’s well-being? If so, consider attending the following event sponsored by the School  District of Holmen’s Information & Technology Services Department:

Ali Maresh, former communications professional from Georgetown University and founder of Tech Break will discuss the overuse of  technology and the benefits of using tech in moderation.  Ms. Maresh will share her story of how she went from a career in social media marketing to working with one of the nation’s first Internet addiction centers, after realizing she was hooked on technology. Audience  members will also learn about the impact of overusing technology and strategies to help families find balance in a hyperconnected world. We hope to see you there!

If you have any questions about this event, please contact Lisa Risch at 608.526.1334.
