IRONTON, Minn. — Geraldine “Gerry” M. Klopfleisch, 79, of Ironton died Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn.

She was born April 29, 1938, in LeRoy, to William and Agnes (Sorenson) Moe. Gerry married Robert Klopfleisch in Crosby, June 12, 1960. She was a graduate from the Crosby-Ironton High School. Her past employment includes the Ironton Post Office, along with other local post offices, and secretary for the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Gerry retired from the Holmen Post Office. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Gerry is survived by two sons, Bruce (Katie) Klopfleisch of Inver Grove Heights and John Klopfleisch of Ironton; one daughter, Pam Klopfleisch of Ironton; four grandchildren, Jessica, Cassie, Jessica and Christopher; one brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Moe of Crosby; three sisters, Ruby Nelson of Crosby, Glennis Maruskie of Battleview, N.D., and Betty (Thomas) Swensen of Emily.

Preceding Gerry in death are her parents; her husband, Robert; two brothers, Clarence and Robert Moe; one nephew, Eric Moe; and one great-nephew, Trevor Johnson.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial was at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation was one hour prior to the services at the church.
