Smokey is a four-year-old, neutered male who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia and is looking for a weight loss partner!

He’s a big boy, with an even bigger heart. Smokey spent a few weeks in foster care getting over a kitty cold and coming out of his shell. He is a laid-back guy who’d love to be your cuddle buddy.

He needs to work on getting to a healthy weight, so he will need someone who is committed to keeping him on a diet and helping him exercise through play. Smokey should do okay with other calm pets after a proper, slow introduction. He will do best in a home without children who would like to carry him around as it is painful for him to be picked up due to his size.

Visit Smokey or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
