I have to ask why it is so important for Congress to take medical coverage away from so many people.

Should America just not worry about Americans with medical and financial difficulties? And, why can't we keep the strong parts of the Affordable Care Act and amend the weak parts?

It's like the house is almost finished, but instead of putting siding and paint on it now, you're going to knock the whole thing down and start over. Does that make sense?

This issue isn't about which party gets the glory. It's about how we can give our population – all of our population - the best medical coverage we can.

Would it be un-American to help all of our citizens have quality care with affordable coverage? Isn't it more un-American not to? Congress must think about this issue with a conscience, not with political aspirations.
