WEST SALEM — Kenny Allyn Beck, 44, of West Salem passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his home.

He was born Nov. 17, 1969, in Black River Falls to Curtis and Doris (Olson) Beck. Kenny graduated from G-E-T High School in 1987. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy specializing in aviation mechanics. He continued his career in the Navy for 20 years before retiring as Chief Petty Officer in 2008.

Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending the summer days in the pool and hot tub with his wife and children. Kenny married the love of his life, Gloria, on Aug. 11, 2006, and he cherished and valued their love every day since. Family and friends were the most important thing to Kenny and his genuine kindness and selflessness were appreciated by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Gloria Beck, 44; his children, Jordan, 24, Joe, 22, (Heather), Amber, 21, Charlie, 19, and Reagan, 6; his mother -in-law, Bonnie; his siblings, Curtis Beck, Jr., (Charrolet) of Blair, Geneva (Arvid) Bryhn of Ettrick, and Lee Donna (Jeff) Stevens of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister-in-law, LeeAnn Beck of Eau Claire, Wis.; his brother-in-law, David Lee of La Crosse; 22 nieces and nephews; 33 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great nephew.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Jerome Lee; his brother, David Beck; and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home, (Woodruff Chapel), 4239 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse. Pastor Gordon Clary will officiate. Following the service, military honors will be rendered by the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post 52 of La Crosse and the U.S. Navy Funeral Honor Guard.
