Pearl Street Brewery and TUGG have brewed up a Halloween party with something special this year: a new beer to go along with the ska/reggae/rock tunes kicked out by TUGG.TUGG frontman Andy Hughes actually helped head brewer Jordan Clark brew the new beer, a West Coast session IPA dubbed West-consin Coast Skank, featuring Wisconsin-grown Skyrocket hops, and the whole band helped with the idea and the planning.

This limited-release beer will debut at Pearl Street Brewery’s annual Halloween bash, which will run from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at the brewery, 1401 Saint Andrew St. TUGG will perform dressed in theme costumes, and there will be a costume contest for participants, with a $100 grand prize.

Admission is $5. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the La Crosse Collaborative to End Homelessness, an effort spearheaded by CouleeCap to end veteran homelessness in La Crosse by Christmas.
