The Houston County Historical Society annual meeting will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m., at 104 History Lane, Caledonia, in the Society’s museum.

Reports will be given on the year’s activities and two directors will be elected. Richard Walter, La Crescent, a retired Houston County surveyor, will also will give a presentation on the 1832 survey of the Neutral Ground Treaty by surveyor Nathan Boone, the youngest son of Daniel Boone, that ran across part of Houston County. Refreshments will be served.
