The Houston County Sheriff’s office made two arrests and seized meth, a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia after raiding a house in La Crescent last Thursday.

Brandon Lee Wurm, 30, and Dawn Lydia Lindley, 29, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, were both taken into custody and booked on narcotic related charges after officers executed a search warrant at 5 Kistler Dr. in La Crescent.

Deputies seized 2.5 grams of what was suspected to methamphetamine, a syringe loaded with what they suspected to be methamphetamine, a loaded handgun and numerous other drug paraphernalia.

Lindley has been charged in Houston County District court with one count of felony possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a hypodermic needle without a prescription.

Wurm is being held as a fugitive from justice from a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violating his parole

“This was the result of an investigation conducted jointly by the La Crescent Police Department and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office drug task force investigator,” stated Houston County Sheriff Mark Inglett.
