Report of a homeless person making camp in City Park. Unable to locate camp and believed subject had moved on.

Minor two-vehicle property damage motor vehicle crash in private parking lot, 319 S. Third St.

Traffic stop—Juvenile driver warned for speed and parents notified, S. 14th St. and Spruce Drive.

Stolen bicycle, 25 N. Walnut St.

Traffic stop — verbal warning for expired vehicle registration, S. Second Street at Elm Street.

Suspicious white unmarked cargo van in vicinity of construction site, Hwy. 25 and Crescent Ave.

Tuesday, Sept. 19

Assisted Houston County Sheriff’s Office in attempt to locate a suicidal subject, Caledonia.

Report of a transient on the highway. Subject was assisted by Minnesota State Patrol, N. Fourth St. and 14/61.

Trouble with subject at care facility, 101 S. Hill St.

Assisted an elderly person who was having difficulty, McIntosh and S. Elm St.

Lost Juvenile. Subject missed school bus and was given a ride home.

Suspicious Vehicle, 100 Twilight St.

Trouble with juveniles regarding social media, Lance Boulevard.

53-year-old La Crescent man arrested on a Monroe County, Wisconsin arrest warrant, 315 Main St.

Motor vehicle property damage crash. Vehicle struck occupied school bus. Citation issued to 38-year-old La Crescent woman for obstructed view. S. 14th St. and Willow Street.

Credit card fraud reported.

Monday, Sept. 18

Suspicious person reported, Lancer Boulevard and 14th Street.

Found reading glasses, 520 S. 14th St.

Found prepaid cellphone turned in for safekeeping, 520 S. 14th St.

Trouble with juveniles regarding social media.

Motor Vehicle property damage crash. Vehicle struck Shore Acres railroad bridge, Shore Acres Road.,

Child abuse complaint. Incident referred to Winona County Sheriff’s Office as incident was alleged in their jurisdiction.

Open burning complaint, Cedar Drive and S. Seventh Street.

Sunday, Sept. 17

Found child. Returned to parents.

Received a report of a suspicious substance in high school parking lot, 1301 Lancer Blvd.

Theft of items from a storage unit, 301 Kistler Drive.

Report of a subject urinating on private property Lancer Boulevard and S. 14th Street.

Intoxicated subject sleeping at Abnet Field. Responsible party was found to assist subject, 520 S. 14th St.

26-year-old La Crosse man arrested for driving while intoxicated, DNR Landing Road and Hwy. 14/61.

Traffic Stop—verbal warning for motor vehicle equipment violation, 319 S. Third St.

Traffic Stop—verbal warning for semaphore violation, Hwy. 14/61.

Saturday, Sept. 16

Unwanted intoxicated person at a residence. Subject transported to detoxification unit, 618 N. Third St.

Eighteen-year-old St. Paul woman cited for speed, S. 14th Street and Hwy. 16.

Friday, Sept. 15

Parking citation issued for parking in school bus loading and unloading zone, 400 block of S. Fourth St.

Criminal damage to boy’s bathroom at Old Hickory Park. There has been a continuing problem with neighborhood boys causing issues throughout the summer at the public facility, 1200 Jonathan Lane.

Reported theft of a flower urn from a gravesite. PD is attempting to verify if item was removed due to noncompliance with cemetery rules, 300 block of N. Hill St.
