A La Crescent man has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after police search a residence in city April 20.

Kyle Ayln Stotesbery, 30, of La Crescent was arrested and charged in Houston County District Court with one felony count and one gross misdemeanor count of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after the search.

The arrest came when a Houston County deputy sheriff working with a probation agent on a home visit recovered about 90 grams of marijuana in “bud form.” Drug paraphernalia and $2,310 in cash also were seized by police from the La Crescent residence, according to a statement from the Houston County Sheriff’s office.
