LA CRESCENT — The Lancers fell to the Hurricanes on the team’s “Shooting for a Cause” fundraiser night to support students with disabilities. La Crescent had a few too many turnovers and shot 1-for-7 from the free-throw line.

LA CRESCENT — Alex Boudreau dished out two assists, one to Josh Hackworth and the other to Mason Holzer, but the Lancers were edged by the Timberwolves. Gavin Christianson finished with 38 saves for La Crescent.

WRESTLING

HARMONY — The Lancers tied for eighth-place at the Fillmore Central Holiday Tournament. La Crescent wrestlers talled eight pins in the tournament, with Zach Bolyard (220) placing second, and Clayton (195) and Colten (182) Jorgenson each won third-place matches.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Rochester Lourdes 64, La Crescent 26

ROCHESTER — La Crescent encountered a solid Rochester Lourdes team that had nine different players score in the Hiawatha Valley League and Three Rivers Conference Showdown. Jada Reider had a team-high seven points for the Lancers.

BOYS BASKETBALL

La Crescent 49, Rushford-Peterson 48 (OT)

LA CRESCENT — Zach Todd (13), Luke Schwartzhoff (12) and Ben Nelson (12) all scored double-figure points to lead the Lancers to the overtime victory over the Trojans.

HOCKEY

Onalaska 11, La Crescent 0

LA CRESCENT — The Hilltoppers scored three times in the first period and went 3-for-3 on the power play to trounce the Lancers at home. La Crescent goaltender Ryan Booth finished with 34 saves.
