BOSCOBEL, Wis. — Joseph R. Zeman, 65, of Boscobel passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at his home in Boscobel.
He was born May 23, 1952, in Black River Falls, the son of Roger and Patricia (Bolger) Zeman. He married Nancy Walsh Oct. 9, 2004, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Zeman of Boscobel; three sons, Shane (Kari) Zeman of Melrose, Travis (Amanda) Zeman of Mindoro, Trevor Zeman of Mindoro; two stepchildren, Sarah Walsh of Boscobel, Joseph (Bailey) Edge of Boscobel; his mother, Patricia Zeman of Onalaska; 11 grandchildren, Reese, Ty, Kennedy, Cooper, Cade, Landon Zeman, Daekwon, Kaiya Walsh, Sylus, Harper, Hadley Edge; one brother, Kevin (Lois) Zeman of Holmen; one sister, Sandy Gerdes of Holmen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Zeman; infant sister, Susan Zeman; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Gerdes and Thomas Walsh; his father-in-law, Avery Clark.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 10, at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church in Melrose, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Military honors will be accorded by the Neil S. Lewison American Legion Post #439 of Melrose.
