BLACK RIVER FALLS/HIXTON — Priscilla “Pep” Lindberg, 79, of Black River Falls, formerly of Hixton passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, at her home.

She was born March 6, 1938, in Black River Falls, to Paul and Annetta (Paulson) Gilbertson Sr. Priscilla was raised in the Oak Ridge area. She was united in marriage to Hilman “Jake” Lindberg Jan. 15, 1955, in Evansville. Together the couple settled in Hixton, farming for a couple years, before they owned and operated Lindberg Trucking. Jake preceded her in death April 28, 1987. Priscilla moved to Pine View Terrace, Black River Falls, in 2002,where she lived until her passing.

Priscilla enjoyed visiting with family and friends and going to the casino. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Hixton.

Priscilla is survived by her daughters, Rose (Jeff) Pugh of Altoona, Wis., Rita Sue Lindberg of Stoughton, Wis., and Ruth (Jeff) DeJarlais of Merrill, Wis.; sons, Randy (Sue) Lindberg and Rick (Brenda) Lindberg both of Hixton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Mike) Helstad of Hixton; brother, Glen Gilbertson of Hixton; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake; parents, Paul Sr. and Annetta; sisters, Paula Faux, Gayle “Stormy” Dedrickson, Cheryl Clark, and Anita; brothers, Paul and John Gilbertson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Hixton. The Reverend Mara Ahles-Iverson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Sechlerville Cemetery, rural Hixton.

Family and friends are invited for visitation from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday, at the church.
