Melrose-Mindoro High School students will put on "Brighton Beach Memoirs" next month for its annual spring play.
The play is about a young boy named Eugene in 1937 New York City. He lives with his lower-middle class Jewish family. He narrates this hilarious story as the family goes through the trials of everyday life in the Great Depression. Shows will be 7 p.m. March 2-3 and 2 p.m. March 4 at the high school auditorium.
The play will be directed by Kelsey Woodward and Nancy Gilligan.
