BRMH executive assistants collect items for Project Christmas

Collecting more than 160 gifts for Project Christmas are BRMH staff members (back row, left to right): Chipper Wyss, executive assistant to the chief nursing officer; Michelle Austin, executive assistant to the chief finance officer; and Erin Wyss, executive assistant to the chief operating officer. In the front row, left to right: Jane Tande, executive assistant to the chief medical officer, and Carrie Farnsworth, executive assistant to the chief executive officer and medical staff coordinator.

The Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH) executive assistants wanted to do something special to give back to the community during this holiday season.

The group decided to raise awareness and encourage donations for Project Christmas.

They decorated a tree in the BRMH cafeteria with angel ornaments with gift ideas written on the back of each ornament.

The staff was encouraged to select and keep an ornament. In return, they donated a gift.

The result was more than 160 gift items for all ages of youth.

Jane Tande, executive assistant to the chief medical officer said, “We were amazed of the generosity and are so pleased to be able to give these items to families in need in our area.”

The donation collection activity was so popular they are already planning to do it again in 2018.
