The following was reported by the Black River Falls Police Department:

July 4

10:20 p.m.: Alan M. Krug-Dye, 17, Wisconsin Rapids, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Highway 54 near Highway 12/27.

11:23 p.m.: Stephanie M. Cogger, 21, Black River Falls, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Highway 54 near Highway 12/27.

July 5

4:24 p.m.: Nicole L. Eddy, 27, Black River Falls, was cited for theft after reportedly attempting to steal clothing from Walmart.

11:07 p.m.: Jeremy D. Falz, 23, Black River Falls, was arrested on a probation hold and transported to jail following a traffic stop on Harrison Street near Eighth Street. Falz also was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

July 6

2:36 p.m.: Paul C. Smith, 48, Black River Falls, was arrested on a probation hold and transported to jail.

July 8

8:07 p.m.: Jason D. Jacobs, 38, Merrillan, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle following a traffic stop on Main Street near Andrews Road.

July 9

5:20 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a broken window at the Speedwash Laundromat on S. First Street. A 19-year-old La Crosse man reportedly suffered a cut on his arm during the incident. A group that was at the facility stated a bench went through the window, while witnesses reported a bike was thrown through the window. The incident remains under investigation.

11:24 p.m.: Christy L. Lambert, 27, Sparta, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Highway 54 near Highway 12/27.

July 10

4:31 p.m.: Scott W. Brown, 40, Blair, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Highway 54.

5:03 p.m.: Reyceto P. Batista, 29, Black River Falls, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Highway 54 near McKinley Street.

July 11

5:17 p.m.: Tracey R. Matti, 28, Merrillan, was cited for theft after reportedly attempting to steal several items from Walmart.

July 12

3:30 p.m.: Aaron T. Lowe, 16, Black River Falls, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in an uncontrolled intersection and operating left-of-center after witnesses reported seeing him nearly strike a person on a bike on 10th Street near Fillmore Street.

July 13

3:40 a.m.: A vehicle owned by Wayne J. Peters, 59, Black River Falls, was cited for a parking violation while parked on the 100 block of Main Street.

10:42 a.m.: Jeremy A. Clark, 18, Black River Falls, was arrested on a probation hold and transported to jail.

12 p.m.: Cecelia P. Bede, 32, Black River Falls, was arrested on a probation hold and transported to jail.

3:10 p.m.: Dana L. Cooper/Gaede, 40, Cadott, was cited for theft after reportedly attempting to steal several health and beauty items from Walmart.

July 14

2:11 a.m.: Shawn W. Wolford, 24, Jupiter, Fla., was arrested for a first offense of operating while intoxicated and transported to jail following a traffic stop on Main Street near N. First Street.

2:25 p.m.: Joel D. Peterson, 38, Portage, was arrested on a probation hold and transported to jail.

July 16

2:15 a.m.: Jeremy Q. Hall, 22, Black River Falls, was arrested for battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct after reportedly punching a 46-year-old Black River Falls man and causing a hole in the wall at Murphy’s Pub on the 100 block of Main Street.

9:40 a.m.: A vehicle owned by Mary J. Wegman, 43, Black River Falls, was cited for a parking violation after parking on Main Street during a temporary no-parking order for the Karner Blue Butterfly Festival.

9:55 a.m.: A vehicle owned by Orville V. Semke, 60, Melrose, was cited for a parking violation after parking on Main Street during a temporary no-parking order for the Karner Blue Butterfly Festival.

10:11 a.m.: Gerald W. Heilmeyer, 64, Black River Falls, was cited for a parking violation after parking on Main Street during a temporary no-parking order for the Karner Blue Butterfly Festival.

10:13 a.m.: A vehicle owned by Bank of America and JBS Carriers Inc. was cited for a parking violation after parking on Main Street during a temporary no-parking order for the Karner Blue Butterfly Festival.

July 17

11:04 p.m.: A gas drive-off was reported at Kwik Trip. Someone reportedly pumped $10 worth of fuel and failed to pay.
