Recently there has been a large push towards more green energy as companies and consumers look to reduce their impact on the environment.

That’s where events like the Green Life Xpo last weekend come in to help people connect with the different solutions out there.

This year was the expo’s seventh year and the goal was to make the community aware of the options that are available and change people to more sustainable options.

Their website states, “Today’s exposition is designed to attract visitors from 100 to 150 mile radius and to continue attracting visitors from an eight county area in West Central Wisconsin: Clark, Eau Claire, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau and Wood.”

Held in the Milt Lunda Memorial Arena, vendors from all different sorts of industries set up shop to talk with people interested in changing things up.

Main topics for the expo were planned around renewable energy, conservation, recycling and sustainable living.

There were talks on electric cars, different home energy systems and even exhibits for the kids to enjoy.

Several speakers also made an appearance at the expo to give presentations on green energy.

It wasn’t all home heating and electric cars though, there was even an animal exhibit full of Guinea pigs, turtles and lizards.
