The Friends of the Black River Falls Public Library group is seeking donations for its upcoming spring book sale.
The library will accept books and other items in good condition for the sale, which is scheduled for May 17-19. Donations are being accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays during regular library hours, and donors are asked to limit their contributions to two bags or boxes of items per day.
The Friends group, founded in 2015, uses proceeds from book sales to support the expansion of the library’s collection as well as children’s and other library programming.
Acceptable items include fiction, non-fiction, large-print and audio books, CDs, DVDs and children’s books in addition to puzzles and computer games. The sale will not accept unclean or damaged books, torn or tattered paperback books, Reader’s Digest condensed books, textbooks, encyclopedias or magazines.
The library’s Tuesday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For questions or more information on the sale or donations, call the library at (715) 284-4112.
