Starting out the week, the Wildcats volleyball team would play host to Whitehall.
The girls would play well on Tuesday sweeping the Norse on their way to victory with scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-16.
B-T really played as a team and moved on the court. McKenna Nehring had 11 kills, 11 digs, one ace, with Danyelle Waldera and Lauren Kidd following with four aces each. Marlee Nehring came in with 15 assists, eight digs and seven aces.
Saturday the Wildcats traveled to Whitehall for a six-team tournament going 0-2 versus Clear Lake, 0-2 versus Necedah, 0-2 versus Edgar, 2-0 versus Whitehall and 0-2 versus Bangor.
“We always enjoy this tournament, we get to meet up with some good teams,” head coach Tammy Stensven said. “We started the day without one of our starters and then ended the day without two of our starters, one due to injury. The girls had to step up and play hard ball with missing two key players”
McKenna Nehring (before her injury) had 13 kills, followed by Lauren Kidd with 11 kills. Macy Lien had eight kills, and Carly Nelson and Liza Howe had seven kills each. Marlee Nehring had 34 assists for the day.
