Hornets continue slide against Eleva-Strum

Paige Sheffer looks to the hoop against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals in the Hornet's 52-22 loss Tuesday in Alma Center.

After getting drubbed by the Mustangs the week before, the Hornets next faced off against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals coming away with a 52-22 loss.

Cassidy Huber led the Hornets with six points followed by Natalie Fischer with five and Paige Sheffer with four points.

The Hornets shot 7-of-63 from the field on a poor shooting night.

“We just have been having our troubles hitting shots in games,” head coach Bill Schulte said.

The Hornets are now 3-4, but are 0-4 in the Large Dairyland Conference.
