Lincoln battled Augusta at home last Thursday for the final game of the season before tournament time, coming away with a 3-1 Senior Night win.

The Hornets would start slow, losing their first set 26-24.

They would go on to win the next three sets 25-19, 26-24 and 25-18.

Shramek wanted to make her presence known in her last regular season home game and had an impressive 12 kills and was 25-for-25 behind the serving line.

Natalie Fischer had seven kills. Paige Sheffer ran the floor leading the team in digs.

Callie Frey, Casssidy Huber and Kena Zimbauer added a combined 13 kills to the stat book, and Mary Hinchcliff was 100 percent behind the serving line.

Lincoln defended its home court Tuesday against Gilmanton in the first game of regionals, almost sweeping its opponent 3-1.

The Hornets took the sets 27-25, 25-19, 19-25 and 25-15.

Elise Theiler was an animal at the night and left no one believing she was only a sophomore after she came up with nine blocks on the night, five of them coming in the set four win.

Shramek led the team in kills with 13, Fischer had nine and Zimbauer had six.

Sheffer, Huber and Shramek were 100 percent behind the serving line and helped their team to a victory.
