The Lincoln Hornets volleyball team would come away with a 3-0 match victory against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals Tuesday night, making their conference record 4-1 after the match.

The match scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21.

McKenna Zimbauer and Natalie Fischer led the team in serving and scored a combined 42 points on the night. Zimbauer had one ace and Fischer had three.

Maddy Shramek and Fischer led the team with nine kills followed by Callie Frey with seven and Elise Thieler with four.

Fischer had 20 assists on the night, while Emma Fischer would have eight.

Shramek would also come away with one block.

“The girls had a great night and worked very hard,” coach Danielle Castle said.
